Blue Christmas

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  Mine was busy, as usual.  I have to just say a huge THANK YOU to all of my family and friends.  I know I've said it before, but I am seriously feeling so overwhelmed by all the love and support.  I really do feel that I am going to be capturing moments of those near and dear to me for a very long time.  My portfolio is coming along and I have to give thanks to Missy and Brenton for welcoming me into their home to capture some precious moments of their GORGEOUS family!  Seriously, I went into this shoot, nervous, as usual because I just never know what the results are going to be.  I left feeling like I didn't do a very good job, but after editing and uploading a few photos, I realized, and even my husband said, he thinks this the the best job I've done so far!  I am so happy with how they turned out.  The difference with their family was, I wasn't chasing around little kids for the first time, so I actually had to come up with different ideas for them.  I like my pictures to tell a story.  A few posed photos here and there are okay, but I want my photos to really reflect the family or the person I am taking them of.  I think I did that here.  I still have a lot of work to do.  I hate telling people what to do, but I'm going to have to get over that and really start practicing.  I just don't think I have the confidence yet.  I know I will get there, it will just take time.  That is why I am so grateful to all the family and friend that are baring with me and letting me practice with their family's.  You may have noticed the title is called "Blue Christmas"you will discover if you haven't already, why I named it that.  Brenton and Missy's daughter Bailey, has some of the most beautiful blue eyes I've EVER seen!  Seriously, stunning is the only word to describe her.  She is so precious.  She MADE these pictures.  So thank you little one!  Here are a few of the Blue Moments captured of this beautiful family. Enjoy!
