Decking the Halls!

Tis the Season!

Well, it's the 3rd of December and I think I'm almost set.  I still have my shopping to do and I still need to address my Christmas cards, however I am finished with decorating for the season.  I do have to say, for it being the first time in our home, I did a mighty fine job of making it cozy! Trying to pick my favorite decoration of the season is a tough one but if I had to choose I would choose the christmas lights on the outside of our home!  It took a bit of trial and error, but by the 3rd try my husband got them perfect!  My parents never put lights up on the house when I was little and I always wanted them too, so after almost 30 years of waiting (now you know how old I am :)) I finally have the twinkle lights I've always wanted!  Here are some pics of our Holiday Home Moments! :)

A few of my Favorite Ornaments from the past.  A "Just Married" bulb from my good friend Erin, and a Cupcake pan (because if you know me, you know I LOVE CUPCAKES!), from my mama.  My mom is alway great at picking out ornaments.  Every year I look forward to see what she got that year! :)

Gopher Hockey, not my personal favorite, but I know it's my husbands, he LIVES for Gopher Hockey. :)  And our very 1st ornament we got together when we went to a wedding in Cape Cod.  I just LOVE this ornament!

My husbands mom is always thinking ahead.  For each of her children she bought them an ornament for each year and put the date on them.  Then when they moved out of the house, she gave them all their own ornaments so when they had their first tree, they had plenty of ornaments to hang!  How sweet is that?!  This little Elf, is one of my husbands very first ornaments as a baby.  :)
